I ordered two of these to use at Christmas. Two 13 year old granddaughters needed to use the hide-a-bed for their bedroom when all the kids and grandkids came home for Christmas. The hide-a-bed is in a side "tip out" of the living room,
The screens were perfect. They hid the girl's "mess" quite adequately, and allowed them a sense of privacy when they wanted to feel as if they had a more private place to get away to themselves to do nails and tell secrets.
The screens are not heavy, but we had no trouble with them falling over -- they didn't fall over even once, in a week. They are attractive. I believe they would complement any decor. A floor plant makes them look quite nice.
Now that we don't need them to cordon off a room, I can think of several places to place them: to conceal exercise equipment in the family room when it's not in use; to conceal an ugly bookcase full of music, next to the piano; to place in corners of rooms to soften the area; to (finally) figure out how to make a large safe in the bedroom disappear; for a girly dressing area in one of the spare bedrooms; to hide the cat's litter box; to put behind the TV to hide wires and such.
So many ways I want to use them ... but I only have two.
Good value -- the quality is good for the price. Nice looking. Easy to store if you don't want to use it all the time. It doesn't take up much space. Could easily live behind a door if you needed it to.
Unlike others, I am not disappointed in the "paper". It doesn't seem to be "paper". I don't know what it is.
I would recommend them, without hesitiation.
