Six months ago, I bought the "Ironing Blanket" for my tabletop ironing board. I do not like the cover on the ironing board and thought this would be a better alternative! It works GREAT as this blanket gives the ironing board the extra cushion that we were seeking. It has held up but it will scorch as my daughter did not know that the one touch sensor was off on the iron so it scorched the blanket but it still works perfectly. We use the steam and mist from the iron on the blanket and it did not stain the blanket until the incident occurred with my daughter and the iron which is no reflection on the blanket. I just ordered my second "Ironing Blanket" because I might use it for crafting or perhaps a backup ironing blanket.
We do not have issues with the mat curling or laying flat because the blanket hangs over the ironing board but it still ours still does not curl. We did not have an odor and if things change with the second one, I will update my review!
