The only problem is that it goes from a small cup to a large cup, but doesn't show the actual volumes. I did a quick test, which showed up an oddity. The smallest cup volume is around 200ml, the next bold dot produces 250ml, the next one 250ml again, then the next one 300ml and finally the largest cup is 350ml. In the event that you've miscalculated the volume, there is an emergency stop button.

The only other criticism is that the button to open the lid to the water tank is behind the unit and a bit fiddly to get to, as you obviously have the unit facing towards you. The lid hinges forward, which makes tipping in the water a little awkward, too.

Overall, a decent bit of kit, which quickly and efficiently produces water hot enough for a hot drink.

The best way to explain how good this device is would be to tell you that it replaced the identical unit (different colour though) that we bought about 12 years ago.
The OLD one was white and wore the Kambrook brand. It was still working, but definitely showing it's age with the occasional hiccup. Decided to replace it BEFORE it died and still have it as a back-up if needed.
I had bought a similar device, but not the same, about a year ago but kept it in the cupboard for when the old one died... it never did!
