I actually use this product in multiple ways. We are allowed to dress up for holidays at work and i use the lights to dress up my drink cups. I also have Christmas decorations that lack lighting and I use them to make them light. You can put them in vases with flowers, etc. I have discovered they are more water resistant than being truly water proof but since I don't use them in our hot tub or pool, they work great. I like the multiple settings and it takes quite a while to run the batteries down even when using them frequently.

Short Lived - Water Found in All 4 Lights
REVISED: I had these in the shower for about 4 months, not in direct flow of water, just receiving minor over-spray. 3 of the 4 stopped working. I opened them up to find all 4 have water inside. On the 3 that stopped working, the batteries were soaked to the point of discoloration and the labels are coming off. The 4th light miraculously still works. It has visible water inside where the lights are and a lot of rust. The battery compartment is wet, but somehow the water didn't pool near the batteries, so it still works, with exception that most of the colors are different shades of green or blue now. Red and orange don't work. These are not water tight. They are definitely not submersible. I considered user error, but considering the trouble I had opening them because they were screwed so tightly, I have to say it is a product flaw that water found its way inside all 4 lights. Also, when all 4 lights are on "Fade" using the remote, one cycled through the colors at about 5 times the speed of the remaining 3, that were almost in sync. NOTE: The green light in the photo is supposed to be orange. Original review: Great lights. Bright and colorful. Easy to operate. 1 remote can operate all 4 at once, in case you were wondering.

Everything works great, I love these lights! I went out and purchased some small magnets to super glue to the backs of them, so I could stick them to my pool wall. Works wonderfully! You can get 50 at WM for less than $5 and I used cheap super glue for like$1. I also bought some waterproof gorilla tape to go around the outside of the seal just for some added protection against water. I have had NO PROBLEMS with water getting in and the light are bright. I'm extremely happy with my purchase and they look great!
