I purchased this to use at a pizza party I threw for my birthday, and it performed admirably!
This particular style of pizza cutter is really nice, as you can slice your pizzas evenly, while avoiding moving all the toppings around and off the pizza. I'd definitely recommend trying one if all you've ever used is a wheel cutter all your life. It doubles as a great quesadilla and other baked goods cutter, though it can occasionally be a bit more unwieldy than a wheel cutter for those purposes, especially if you're cutting on a plate.
The handle is made of a nice simple hardwood. Not particularly beautiful, but solid and nice feeling in the hand, with a nice simple grain pattern. The edge comes fairly dull out of the box, though it's sharp enough to be effective. I ran a knife sharpener over mine a few times, just to add a little edge for cutting. Most of the work is done by the mass of the tool however, so it doesn't need to be razor sharp.
Overall it seems very solid, and has turned out to be worth the purchase. I'd highly recommend this to anyone looking to augment their pizza making toolbox.

Don't leave it in your sink
Works great, better than any rolling cutter I've ever used. Within the first year or so, however, I began to notice that the wood handle was starting to disintegrate. I was dumb enough to continue leaving it damp in the sink, and it progressed to the point shown in the picture during the second year I had it. Moral of the story: don't leave it in your sink, or wet in any way, or get one with a plastic handle...
