Update: 4/17/13. Cage is still pretty good. The bottom plastic piece is a little flimsy...since it rests on the frame and there's a space between the plastic and the table that its on, the plastic's edges lifted up since the plant is heavy and drops the center of the plastic down to the table. The crickets were escaping from the cage & hiding underneath the plastic piece. To avoid this problem, place something under the plastic to support it & keep it level where the plant sits.
The frame is also not that strong...some parts would separate & I'd have to squeeze them together again. At one time, the frame got a little tweaked and I couldn't shift it back...so I put a piece of tape in the front (running from the right side of the frame to the left side of the frame) to keep it in place (quick fix that works). Also, price is still a lot less than other pet stores on the island. ^_^
She lovesssss it.
Shed within the first week so I think she approves of the space.
TIPS: This wire mesh is not strong, I suggest using thin gardening wire, hemp,or rope/thread of some kind for securing things to the wire. Be careful with how much power you use while working with it because it will rip right through, leaving large holes or gashes. That leaves exits for Bugs, small reptiles etc.
Don't set Heavy Objects on the top panel. If you should to set things on top of the cage make sure they aren't heavy or the brunt of there weight is being held by some kind of stand. These screens can be pushed in, say by heavy objects set on top, or a curious cat jumping on top one to many times ( I've learned from experience -.- ). So its best to try and keep it intact as much as possible. But good news, these can be replaced as very easily using basically the same matter one would use to replace the mesh wire in the screen door at your home.
