Good for paved streets but not so much for cobbles or bumpy roads. Overall, great design!
Pros: Our little one loves sitting in this trike! It comes with safety staps! It also has a drink and snack holder for baby and bonus one for mommy (or daddy) to. Because what parent or care taker doesn't get thirsty pushing a sweet little baby on a gorgeous day during a walk. It also has a spot for your cell phone and easy access to quick use if necessary. I love the basket underneath! Perfect size for a ball, bubble machine and a lunch if you want to take it to the park. I love that this trike can grow with our little one. The foot pads are a nice bonus so baby doesn't drag toes and get them scrapped up. I also like the shade canopy for hot afternoon walks.
Cons: This trike comes in a million pieces. Seriously, not one piece we didn't have to figure out where it went. Luckily my husband is really smart. If you want to give this as a put together gift, at a party, make sure you put it together the night before. It's time consuming but worth the struggle. The only other down fall to this trike is the manoeuvrability. Compared to my jogging stroller(bob) and our wagon (radio flyer) this trike if pretty difficult to navigate. We still use it on short walks about once a week because our little one loves it. The turns and just general ease of pushing is definitely a little struggle but still fun and worth the money.
If your still on the fence buy it already. You won't regret it.
It’s hard to put together: I would agree 100%. It took me 3 hours and I’m very adept at using tools and following instructions.
It has the worst instructions: I would agree 100%. When did they stop writing words to explain? They came in English and French. But it was all pictures most of which showed absolutely nothing but what part and general location.
Steering: some said it was difficult to steer. If you can steer a bicycle you can steer this
Box broken or opened: that’s a shipping problem not a product problem
Missing pieces: Amazon has a return policy but receiving the part from little tikes would probably take less time
The seat leans: mine leans 12 degrees. Not a problem and I believe I can adjust it.
The rear wheel won’t spin: they work perfectly if you if you don’t shove the wheel hub in too tightly. Mine work fine.
The child can take over the parent controls: yes and the parent should be intelligent enough to stop immediately so the stroller doesn’t go off course possibly hurting the child. People discipline your child and stop complaining. Put the phone down, try talking to your child on your outing.
The cart tips: I tried everything to get this to tip. The only way I found was to crank the wheel completely to one side and go down a curb. Hardly a problem. More of a user error.

The instructions are universal and contain very few words, meaning they show pictures of the parts and screws to assemble with some arrows, same idea as Ikea products. I understand why people had hard time reading the instructions but you have my word you don't have to be a rocket scientist either. There are gazillion parts so it took me over an hour but it wasn't hard at all!
I did too encounter issues with the parent handle, and even called my brother-in-law to drill new holes in the metal part that goes inside the seat. At some point I even thought that the handle part that should go into the seat is too short. He then suggested to put extra pressure and we immediately heard a "klak" and the handle went in perfectly. I want to emphasize that both me and my husband tried to put pressure but I guess we didn't push hard enough or were too afraid to break it. In fact after he put it in I asked to take it out and do it myself and was unable to. I guess I don't put enough pressure. My husband though was able, I guess he was afraid to break it the first time he tried.
~~~ I urge all my fellow reviewers to try again and push the handle in as strong as you can. The trike will not break. I also urge Little Tikes to add a comment in the manual because so many people are encountering issues and are frustrated. ~~~
The wheels are made from some material that is between plastic and rubber. I guess it's plastic with some rubbery coat or perhaps some soft plastic. I wish they were all rubber, but I'm willing to give them a chance and see how many years they'll last.
Bottom line this is a great product. Highly recommended!!!
