An evolved Zombiestrike Flipfury, slightly weaker, slightly slower, but twice the dart payload and a versatile priming handle.

An evolved Zombiestrike Flipfury, slightly weaker, slightly slower, but twice the dart payload and a versatile priming handle.
Imagine, if you will, 4 slightly weaker Strongarm blasters strapped together on a stick with a screwdriver for a single priming handle grip that you could attach to 1 of 3 different areas at the front. That is how the Doominators do. They fire any Elite dart (blue, green, decorated Rebelle, and now also the orange Doomlands darts). I did not expect much from this blaster but was pleasantly surprised at how well and reliably it fired; Others have reported jams where mine had none (seriously, there was one video where some kid was breaking the product when he tried to "rapid-fire" by repeatedly squeezing the trigger while priming instead of using slam-fire by holding the trigger down and pumping the priming handle). Yes, it has slam-fire but unlike the Nerf Elite Strongarm's it does not do it smoothly enough to empty a full 6 shots under 2 seconds (maybe 3 seconds). The priming handle's location being in the front looks cool but since it is made of plastic, psychologically I feel like it will buckle or break and I refrain from pushing it to it's limit. It did not break yet though, and the hard plastic and internals seem to be tolerating the abuse of the slam-fire. The butt-stock is most uncomfortable, especially for larger users, and is much too close to the pistol grip; irritatingly, it gets in the way of my wrist as I operate the blaster. What IS conveniently placed is a dual finger-hole lever that allows the user to cycle between the 4 barrels (a rotating cylinder-switch?) under the main trigger. This allows the middle and ring finger to get in on the action as the user prepares to fire-off the next six shots without having to worry, much like the evolution of the Strongarm: the Zombiestrike Flipfury, which is obviously brethren of the Doominator. Velocity readings on my ProChrono Digital chronograph as measured in the feet per second (FPS) clocked the Doominator's average shot at 63 FPS, a sub-elite yet respectable level rating for a "springer." For the modification community, there are already people modding this blaster. One mod-guide that I have found has a guy adding a spring to it and covering an unnecessary air-release hole inside the blaster. He reports improved and reliable distances, but please do not try to mod the blaster unless you are good at taking things apart and putting it back together. Also notice the second picture I posted, here you may notice that the barrel hole's diameter is much larger than the circumference of the "chamber" where the darts are fired from. This decreases the chance of interference as the dart passes through the barrel; effectively minimizing the chance of the dart rubbing against the side of the barrel, stealing kinetic energy, decreasing velocity, and killing your dart ranges. As an update, this can be modded. I used an Orange Mod Works 7kg spring with a plastic ring spacer (I had to custom fit a Longshot spring retention plate to fit at the end of the spring for compression since the Doominators stock spring is longer), and I also sealed a tiny air-release hole located on top of the air restrictor. The results as measured by my chronograph readings show 70 FPS. Not bad, but then again, maybe not really worth the effort for 7 FPS of a difference. Not to mention the slightly harder prime. For me, I think that extra oomph makes a pretty big difference if you are using it in a Nerf war.
