Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Dark, Smooth, Rich Coffee - Some Coffee Grounds in the Cup, But No Mess left in or on My Coffee Brewer
Top reviews from the United States

- Reviewed in the United States on February 20, 2015After a few weeks of using the Keurig K45 Elite Brewing System, and subsequently running into the issue of K-Cups not being the most cost-effective products on the market (unless they are on sale), I decided to try out the Keurig My K-Cup Reusable Coffee Filter. Although the removal of the black plastic piece within which the commercial K-Cups sit is not as smooth a process as it could be, the "fill-up", assembly, and insertion of the reusable coffee filter is otherwise pretty simple. After accounting for a few issues, which I'll discuss below, the reusable coffee filter has proven itself a useful, cheap, effective, and an all around quality purchase.
As such, following the initial purchase of this reusable filter, and a dozen rounds of coffee brewing, I've found a few steps could be added to the process of using this filter in order to prevent issues such as splashing water, grounds in the coffee mug, and low strength coffee. First, concerning the splashing water and grounds in the coffee, these can be addressed through the adjustment of the black (round) rubber gasket, located under the lid, which surrounds the "needle" or water spout which punctures/inserts into the K-Cups and reusable filters. Carefully/softly pull the gasket down no more than a millimeter or two and this will create the pressurized seal that the low seated reusable filter needs (as compared to the ordinary K-Cups which sit higher or closer to the gasket's original position). With this adjustment creating the necessary pressurized seal, you can now fill the reusable filter to the very top while continuously tamping the grounds in order to tightly pack as many grounds as possible into the filter. This will allow for stronger coffee as the water goes through the filter. For even stronger coffee, please see the reviews concerning utilization of the used commercial K-Cup shells.
As of the writing of this review, I've gotten one of these for a friend and my grandmother as well. Very reliable, efficient, and well made. Definitely a great purchase to go with your Keurig! Happy brewing!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 16, 2010I received one of these items with my Keurig machine which I purchased elsewhere about 2 years ago. It was an excellent addition to the coffee maker, as I soon realized that purchasing K-cups would get expensive. With the My K-cup item, I get the benefit of the single-serve coffee maker (1 cup of fresh, fast hot coffee without wasting any), and still have the freedom to choose any type of coffee I want. I can even justify buying Starbucks beans since it will still cost less than buying K-cups.
Last month I purchased an additional one on Amazon, mainly in case something happens to the first one, but it is also great for brewing 2 cups into a travel mug (I use the smaller cup size setting for stronger coffee), or just having an extra one on hand so that I don't have to wash the same one every day.
Some people have mentioned having problems with this item, but I have found most problems can be avoided by doing the following:
1)Do not pack the coffee tightly into the cup, or try to fill it completely to the top. A little space is needed at the top, to avoid ending up with a sludgy mess.
2)Make sure the plastic portion, the rim of the cup, and the outside of the cup is free of any coffee that may have spilled over.
3)Make sure the needle part is clean, as residue can affect the dispensing of the coffee (but this is true with the K-cups as well).
The original My K-cup from 2 years ago that came with my brewer (I believe brewer model B50 which I think is not made anymore) still works just fine. I have had no problems with it until a couple of weeks ago when I finally managed to chip a piece of the plastic on the rim of the bottom part....this has actually had no effect on its use, other than requiring a bit more care in putting the top on. I use it a lot, so it's pretty impressive to me that it's lasted this long. The one I ordered from Amazon is exactly the same, except that the color is gray instead of brown. So I am hoping to get a couple of good years out of this one, as well.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 27, 2011UPDATE: 12/10/12
So I'm more than a year into my first K-cup reusable filter and still no complaints. That small crack I mentioned below (which came as a result on me being too rough in cleaning it out) has not grown and impacted it's utility one bit. Still works great, still saving me money. I am shocked by any bad reviews. Mine works without issue every time, and I've used it every day for more than a year.

UPDATE: 8/7/12
So after 10 months of use, it still has yet to leak or cause any operational problems with my Kuerig. A small crack exists on the top lip, but it doesn't cause any issues. And I've definitely saved much more than it cost by not being forced to use K-cups.
_________________________
I was a bit nervous upon reading all of the reviews about leaking, but I have had no such problems during my first couple weeks of use. I use a Keurig Mini B31 model, and this reusable filter fits/works great. I don't have to buy K-cups (which are overpriced) and I can instead use any coffee I want - plus buy it for cheap in bulk and save even more. I use Pikes Place the most, and this little filter is very convenient and brews a great cup of coffee.
Again, I have had no leaks or drips of any kind using it with my B31. The filter is very easy to use and there is very little cleanup involved - just tap it a few times in the garbage and rinse out the excess in the sink. Very simple. Sure, its not as convenient as a K-cup, but if you don't mind the extra 30 seconds it takes to clean it, then its a great purchase. It will pay for itself within a couple months of use.

Great thanks, difficult to source in the Uk. Fair price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great tasting coffee without all the plastic waste!
If you're like me, you love the taste of the coffee that the Keurig Press makes yet you feel guilty about all the disposable plastic cups! Here's a way to use your own organic, shade grown coffee and still be able to compost the grounds afterward! This K cup is awesome - have your local roastery grind your coffee to just before the espresso setting or grind your own at home super fine.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for Making Your Own Custom Brew
My wife uses these Reusable Coffee filters to make her own special custom brew.
We bought some bargain brand reusable cups once and they didn't last long or work well.
These are the genuine OEM Keurig branded item. They work perfectly in the Keurig and last a long time

レギュラーコーヒーがたくさん残っているのにキューリグを手に入れたので消費するために購入しました そのまま使うと細い粉がカップの底に残るので紙フィルターを使ったほうがいいかも あくまで好き好きだと思いますが
