I will echo what some other reviewers have noted. This toy is not suited to aggressive chewers. I like this toy's unique shape and my 45 lb Chinese Shar-Pei doesn't destroy it. However, within 10 minutes a 25 lb French Bulldog that we watching for a friend did the damage shown in my review photos. If your dog is a moderate chewer like mine you will probably find this KONG stick a good addition to your dog's toy chest. If your dog is an aggressive chewer I don't recommend this particular KONG.

My dog loves these, it's one of his go-to toys for playtime. The fabric covering is easy to tear off if your dog is a vigorous chewer, but it held up well until Flynn decided to really dedicate some serious chewing attention to it. It feels very sturdy otherwise, and Flynn loves running around the yard with it in his mouth. Definitely will keep a stock of these on hand for my boy.

I generally love all Kong toys - and this has not disappointed me. The color and texture of the same as a tennis ball - and my dog LOVES tennis balls. She took a couple days to warm up to this toy but the squeaker warmed her over. It's not very aesthetically pleasing just lying around the house like the animal toys are, but is very much worth it! The squeaker is very durable and the shape/ weight of this toy makes it great to play fetch with :)

Our dog really enjoys playing with the Kong Air Dog Squeaker Stick. However, it seems that the quality of the product has actually decreased over the years. Maybe manufacturing is lower cost now, but it reflects in the quality of the product and the brand name KONG. The Squeaker outer fabric doesn't hold up as well as it used to. The squeaker is quick to malfunction these days. We still end up purchasing more because our dog loves them, but we dog owners are sorely disappointed in the lack of quality product these days.
07/10/18-with each "new" squeaker stick we are more and more disappointed with how the quality has continued to fall in this once great dog toy. Squeaker right out of the box is poor. Squeaker just doesn't hold up to use as it used to. If this is now made in China perhaps that speaks for itself. Ugh!

For years, this has been my dog's go-to outside toy. At 90 pounds, she's not small, and these are a good size. They do fade and she eventually chews them in half, so we always have several in the house as replacements. The squeaker sometimes lasts and sometimes doesn't. All in all, a good and sturdy toy. She is relatively gentle and we go through about a half dozen a year.

This is the 2nd one I have ordered. The first one last for more than 6 months! It is a great toy for my dog. she loves it...brings it to me when I get home. Good quality and pet loves it.

I did noticed a difference in material for this second one. It seems smoother and smaller. I ordered a large like the first one but this one seems and feels smaller. That is the only down fall.

Overall, good product.

I really liked the toy, however, my pitties killed the squeeker in less than 5 minutes. I have bought many of them because they are delighted when they see it,,( about 15 at $4.99 each,,,,, but they have also gone up in price, now,,, out of reasonable price for 5 minutes of fun , for almost $7.00. Good idea, and shape is great, but not sturdy enough, the squeeker dies in minutes, and the covering comes off immediately, and they chew up the rubber,,, makes a mess.
