I use it with an ekobrew paper filter to prevent the fine grinds from going into my coffee

I use it with an ekobrew paper filter to prevent the fine grinds from going into my coffee
It works perfectly with my Keurig 2.0. I use it with an ekobrew paper filter to prevent the fine grinds from going into my coffee. It's perfect. How to use it properly:There is a built-in sharp, metal pipe at the bottom of the keurig k-cup compartment. Normally, it pierces the k-cup plastic, pokes a hole in the bottom of the plastic k-cup, and allows the coffee to drain out of the k-cup and into your mug. But obviously, the reusable pod shouldn't be poked! So how does it work? Well, there's two deep grooves, on opposite sides of the reusable pod. These grooves make room for the thin sharp metal pipe inside the keurig machine, so that the pipe doesn't jam into the reusable pod and break. So you position the reusable pod so that either one of the two grooves face you (the thin sharp pipe is closest to the user) -- and then, just gently place the reusable pod in the keurig compartment. If it's in right, it should go inside all the way inside like a regular k-cup. There's no need to use force. If it's not in the right position, just position it gently until it's in the right position. NEVER USE FORCE! And then close the keurig machine. It should kind of snap shut normally, and it should require very much force, either. And, when I'm done, I throw away the paper filter, and rinse my reusable pod. It's so perfect. I'm very happy with it.I've attached photos.

worked with our keurig coffee maker
Reviewed in the United States on March 1, 2015
Really, this is a far better product than I thought we were getting. The pictures do not do this justice at all. For the short and simple:
Pros:
- Yes, it works every time in our Keurig 2.0 brewer (we have the K500) without a hitch.
- It is obvious not just from the picture and description on the box, but how it is designed and how the Keurig is laid out, how to insert this into your machine.
- Tried several standard "Folgers-type" off the shelf drip coffee with no problem and some specialty from the local shop was fantastic. Super strong, nothing weak here at all. Water flow is excellent - WAY better than the other red refillable we have that we have to put stickers on.
Cons:
- None yet that I have found. Will update if anything happens... I just don't see it happening though. Solid unit!

So here are the big differences for me. Right off the bat - the filter material is nothing I've ever seen before - it is more like a solid, hard, membrane material. Super easy to just dump, rinse, and set aside for next use. I mean it rinses clean. No cruddy residue left behind like the screens and nylon types we've had to this point. Very well designed and solid as a rock.

I don't know if there have been changes or improvements made to this item or not, but I cannot fathom how this would not work for someone, or that it could possibly make weaker coffee than a regular Kcup. Just fill it to the top of the filter (which leaves a fair amount of space at the top) put it in, latch it down, select your cup size, press the button, and as my nephew so eloquently puts it - watch it pee coffee!

Put through 14 cups at this point and will update if there are any problems. My main thing is that I have no grounds in my coffee, it is very strong like I like it, and it is my brand of coffee rather than some green mountain garbage. I've ordered the Carafe size as well. Great product and it just works. Nicely done!

This product states that it will work with Keurig 2.0s, including the K500 series, which I own. IT DOES NOT. The instructions state that the hinge should be placed to the left or right, presumably so that the Keurig will "read" it as a authentic Keurig K-cup. Indeed, the slots at the bottom ensure that the hinge be positioned in this manner. But, try as a might, I could not get this device to work. The sad part is that, even though I am an Amazon Prime member, the shipper expects me to pay for the return of this defective product. I would recommend Googling "Kuerig hacks" and using the top of an authentic Keurig K-cup to trick your machine. It will be less expensive and you won't get stuck with the return shipping costs if it doesn't work.

UPDATE 2/3/2015:
Working with Amazon, the seller sent out a second unit, with the same results. They also sent me a UPS tag to return it and the original unit. Shortly after reporting that the second unit didn't work, the seller asked if I would be willing to beta test a new unit that they hoped would work with the Keurigs for which the original filter did not. I am pleased to say that I received the new filter (appearance-wise...it looks like the hinge extends outward a little longer than the original units), tried it...and it works! Finally...we can save some money on coffee brewing and not be forced into purchasing the expensive K-Cups! I have upgraded the rating to 4 stars - only because it took Amazon's involvement to get the seller to pay for the return shipping - but after Amazon's initial involvement, the seller performed well and I would now purchase this item again if needed.

After replacing our Keurig with the Keurig 2.0 I was saddened to learn that the new version required Keuring branded k-cups. We loved our old Keurig and used our reusable cups everyday with our favorite coffees. Discouraged I scoured the internet looking for work arounds and hacks to get past the "Verification" check. The solutions were not a viable option and the other reusable cups that were supposed to work on the 2.0 had received horrible reviews. When I ordered this Eco-Fill cup there were no reviews listed. I was skeptical that this one would work but decided to give it a chance. After receiving it we promptly loaded our coffee into the cup and put it into the 2.0. and received the dreaded Error Message! This was my mistake. I placed the Eco-Fill into the machine just as we had with the old Keuring. We had failed to read the instructions. After reading the instructions and placing the Eco-Fill in the correct way our issue was solved. Success! Our coffee has come out great and we now will not have to return our 2.0 to the store as we thought we were going to have to do. My biggest advice is to Read the Instructions and you will have no issues.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works beautifully!

I was a bit worried when I ordered this but it works beautifully in my Keurig 2.0 machine! It took a bit of fiddling the first time to get the feeling for how to fit it best into the machine. I like the coffee -- it's stronger than what I was getting from the unit I was using that used paper filters. It's also a lot less messy since I don't have to worry about the grounds getting into the coffee or fiddle with a taped k-cup cutout.

This product works great in my Keurig 2.0 K560. You do have to line up the slot on the sides with the pin inside. The photo does
show 2 but you are only purchasing one. Price is a bit high, but no other product available to compare that I could find. Due to the
price I only rated a 4
