~ I would recommend that you fasten this to at least two studs - if the premade holes don't line up...predrill your own.
~ Note* that since the unit is angled, of the two premade holes...the top screw will need to be longer than the bottom one (1 1/2 and 2" drywall screws worked fine
~ Use a level to mount it straight
~ Use good molly's for fastening screws to anything other than the studs! Like these:
~ For Drywall use a "Self-drilling Stud Solver": http://youtu.be/9p4SK46NzuI
~ For Concrete use a "Lag Shield" - http://youtu.be/yda9XIGH9Uk
From unboxing to installation it took about 3 minutes - less time to install than it did finding my drill/screwdriver and deck screws (deck screws work fine for my install). This comes with no screws and that is fine with me I already have a box. I installed this inside the garage above a pegboard to get the giant yard tools up out of the way.
You can certainly find something more "adjustable" and more expensive, but I doubt it would work better than this. I may add another 4' section to this 4' section in the next days.
Ideally you will need 54 inches of horizontal space to mount one bar on top and another bar below so the holding prongs are off center. The hanger does not come with mounting screws so you will need #10 by 2 1/2 in wood screws.
I mounted my tool hangers on a 2X6 that I screwed in across the shed studs. This proved to be the ideal mounting solution for my application.
The pictures on the product description do not show just how nice this mounting solution turned out to be for my needs. The only question is can the plastic stand up to the years of abuse that it will have bestowed on it.

So, knowing the hanger is plastic, it does what it’s supposed to. I bought it when it was on sale for a fraction of the usual price. At the higher price it would have been a “no way”. You get what you pay for. The tool rack and a small cardboard retail pegboard hanger. There are NO instructions of any kind and no fastening devices like screws. Since it was actually designed to be used with Suncast sheds I was hoping it would snap or somehow fit into premade notches formed into the shed but no such luck. Since you have to screw it to the plastic walls of the shed it is no better of a rack than anything you would buy at the hardware store.
The “pegs” are triangles formed into the hanger. They are very slightly tilted upward so your garden tools don’t easily slide off. They also have VERY slight nibs formed into them to serve the same purpose but the nibs are so tiny they really don’t do anything at all.
The pegs are not equally spaced, which is probably designed to accommodate different sized garden tools (without instructions I can’t know for sure if that’s why). It works out okay, for example when I hang the fan-shaped leaf rake which takes up more space than most tools. The hanger is designed to be mated to additional hangers to accommodate more tools, There is nothing to snap the pieces together, the only way you would know is the way the ends are made. Everyone’s needs are different but I would say for a “typical” variety of garden tools most people would probably want to buy at least two tool hangers.
There is nothing especially good or bad about this product but there are probably better ways to hang garden tools in your shed. It’s okay.

Suncast advised me that the hanger I bought are for the garage. They are required to be installed into studs and our sheds do not have studs. The compatible accessories for your unit are BMSASHELFK1, BMSBSKT2PK*, V7572PK*, V724BLD*
