Versatile Shower System

Whether camping, hiking, gardening or cleaning, enjoy all the amenities of home without the need for plumbing. Simply place the pump in a bucket of water, and watch as it pushes a continuous stream up the hose and out the handheld showerhead.

aa

Gentle, Constant Stream

Operating at a consistent .66 gal/minute, our portable shower offers ideal pressure that’s comfortable for infants, the elderly, small pets and delicate plants. Go from washing your kids or car to hosing down outdoor animals in a matter of minutes. Its applications are endless.

aa

Rechargeable 2200mAh Lithium Battery

Shower anywhere, and limit your environmental footprint with a discreet device that quickly charges via an included USB cable. The lightweight, powerful gadget plugs easily into a laptop or 12-volt car adapter and provides up to 60 minutes of use on a single 2- to 5-hour charge.

aa

Hands-Free Hanging

Designed for ultimate convenience, the 1.9-pound unit comes ready with a suction cup holder, S-shaped hanging hook and flexible 6.5-foot hose. The system allows you to suspend it safely from a tree, against a car window or anywhere you need hands-free advantage.

aa

How long can I shower?

Using a 2.5 gallon bucket of water, you can get approximately 7 to 8 minutes of use. This is plenty of time to wet, wash and rinse your hair and soap up and rinse off your body. A helpful tip is to turn off the device while you’re actively washing. This allows you to conserve more water and energy. If you use a 5-gallon bucket with this method, you’ll likely have over 10 minutes of continuous use.

aaa

How do I charge it?

While at home, simply plug the USB cord (included) into the unit and into a USB compatible device such as a laptop or computer. If your wall outlet has an integrated USB charger, that’s even better. If you’re on the road, you’ll need a 12V USB car adapter (not included), which plugs into your cigarette lighter for easy charging while camping, at the beach, on vacation or at the park.

aa

How big is it?

From the pump to the shower handle, you’ll have approximately 5.9 feet of flexible hose to move about. The entire unit spans nearly 6.5 feet, so that’s plenty of distance to hang it from an existing indoor shower curtain rod or high above your head from the branch of an outdoor tree. Still, remember that the entire device is compact and lightweight, so it stows comfortably in your backpack without worry.

I am so tired of “Love it!” reviews. Here is the review that I wish I had before I ordered this product. This product is worth buying and works as described. The photo shows how many water holes are in the shower head compared to other camp showers. The shower comes with a hook for the shower head, but the hose is too short for my 5’7” height because the pump part must stay in the water bucket if the bucket is on the ground. I like this product and would recommend it to friends and family. That’s the short story. Keep reading for a detailed review. For those who value detailed honest product reviews, here’s my story: I ordered this portable shower product a year ago and practiced using it for car camping. Yesterday, I fell at home and broke my ankle bones on both sides of the ankle. Yeah, bummer right? So my downstairs does not have a shower or tub and I really wanted a shower because the ankle dressing is not supposed to get wet. I used a big clean plastic trahbag to protect the dressing and proceeded to shower with the Ivation Portable Outdoor shower. This review is based on my experience with the portable shower in a real world environment. I had stand by assistance from a family member. I threw on the floor a couple of towels and the standby person put a commode chair on top. I put the uninsured foot into a large plastic basin. I had additional dry towels purchased on Amazon nearby. I used a few drops of concentrated Dr. Bonner peppermint soap which can be ordered on Amazon in several scents and unscented. The bathroom sink was filled with water and a tiny bit of Dr. Bonner liquid soap. Making some water mess, I proceeded to shower. Very few drops of water went outside the towel barrier. This is what I liked: 1) The hose was long enough to reach wherever I needed it to go. I am approximately 5’7” and had to bend for the water to reach my hair. The hose has water in it even when out of the water. Having the water basin and faucet at waist height was great and I recommend raising the basin for any use if you are tall so the hose can wash your hair. 2) The charge is through USB which makes it easy charge with a laptop, or other USB outdoor device. The device was not charged for a year and the shower was still strong. 3) The water flow can be stopped by folding the hose to kink it. As long as the pump at the bottom is in water, the water will flow. It took two hands to fold the hose. The hose is strong and thick. 4) The on off switch is on the pump opposite side of the USB plus and is simple to operate. There is a strong plastic cap on the switch. The cap must be pulled off to see the push button switch. 5) A gallon of water can provide a full shower. I used two gallons for a shower and to wash my hair. If I was more efficient, I could have used less water. 6) This shower with lots of shower holes can be used as a shower system for people and pets. It is a more efficient use of water. Start with very warm but not scalding water because the water cools as it leaves the hose. Be sure to check the water temperature before allowing children and the aged to use the shower. Use common sense. 7) For camping - this portable shower system is a yes. A black bag can cover the water to heat it with solar or water from a campfire can be used. Please use caution with hot water. For backpacking, it may add too much weight - but if the big shower feeling gets the family outdoors, the weight is worth the end result of happy campers. 8) Power outages, natural disasters, emergency medical, natural disasters, building and construction sites may find the shower device helpful. 9) I’m unsure how long it takes the device to charge, but can say that my device maintained a strong charge for almost a year in storage. 10) If showering while standing in a basin and using a biodegradable biologically neutral soap, soapseed, the water can be poured out in specific area without harming nature. These soaps are sold on Amazon. I do not know if they will harm the device. I used Dr. Bonner. Oils are slippery. I did not use oils in the water and recommend not using oils in the water. Use oils, lotions and creams after the shower and wear socks untucks lotions and oils are absorbed into the feet. Don’t fall. What I did not like: 1) The entire pump includes the on off switch and USB recharge port. The entire unit goes into the water. At some point water will enter the component and cause the device to stop working. I think the manufacturer should rethink having everything underwater or create a longer warranty. 2) The on/off switch which is hidden under a grey cap is awarkward to reach down into the water to turn off to power each time you need to stop the device to soap up or scrub yourself. There is no other way to stop the water flow except to reach down into the water to push to on/off button or kink the hose. The entire device looks sleek, but the trade-off is extra bending to turn off the device and water flying everywhere while trying to balance oneself on one foot to reach into the clean water and turn off the device. The grey cap must be removed to turn the device on or off. The grey cap does not appear to create a water seal around the on/off switch and may be confusing to users. I first saw this device on a YouTube channel called CheapRVLiving. I recommend going to that channel to watch that video on comparing outdoor showering devices. If you found this review helpful, please give it a click. The helpful votes help improve my writing. One of my sons said that “nobody” reads long reviews. He said people just want quick statement if the product works or not. I enjoy showing him the helpful vote numbers add up because it shows him that you kept reading to the end. I am encouraging him to spend more time reading the actual reviews instead of looking only at the stars to reduce the amount of exchanges and returns he makes. The reviews help people know what they are buying so they are satisfied customers.

Use oils, lotions and creams after the shower and wear socks untucks lotions and oils are absorbed into the feet. Don’t fall.

    What I did not like:
    1) The entire pump includes the on off switch and USB recharge port.

Awesome!! This portable shower may be little but it effectively gets the job done. I purchased for camping purposes but can definitely see this lil gem coming in handy in a pinch, especially when traveling. It has steady pressure almost equivalent to my regular shower 🚿 head!! 😲 And can be reused multiple times, 3-4 15 min showers before needing to be recharged. I love the price point and how compact and simple it is. Just be sure to ensure safety of the motor, keep submerged at all times while running, and I love the fact that the power button even has a safety cover to prevent it from accidentally getting turned on. Def one of my favorite camping 🏕️ accessories!!

We live in Jamaica, the capital called Kingston where we have lots of water shortages occurring during the summer because our retarded and backward thinking government officials won't come up with a solution to fixing the problem except telling the public year after year to CONSERVE which is something they don't even understand when it comes to our tax dollar! Anyway, this item is a God sent for people like us who are tired of bathing in a bucket of water and a plastic cup. Yes, we still have to use the bucket with this item but the real pain is pouring the water over yourself with the cup. We tried many solutions such as the fillable plastic bag/bottle with the shower attachment, didn't work cuz the water kept pouring out and as the water in the plastic bag/bottle went low so did the water pressure. We tried the foot pump air pressure shower gizmo, it was too much of a workout when showering and not relaxing at all considering you have to keep pumping up the air pressure to get a constant water flow. Well here comes the Ivation Battery Powered Handheld Portable Shower. Just charge it up and drop it in the water and it give a constant flow of water pressure all the time. When you don't need the water flowing, just put the shower head into the same bucket or press the button to turn it off. Easy to setup up and to use. We tested it on a 50 gallon drum of water on a single charge and it still had battery power left to do more. The only problem that made me give it a 4 star rather than a 5 star is that the hose connected to the pump side will fall off because the collar that should tighten the hose onto the tapered end is not tight enough to compress the hose against the pump side nozzle. This is easily fixed with a drop of crazy glue to hold the hose on so that the pump doesn't go crashing to the ground. In closing, this is a great product and I'm gonna order another one since I just bought this one to test out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Très très bien
Reviewed in France on February 28, 2016

For the price, great product. I use in an off-grid situation with a 10L bucket of preheated water. Adequate pressure and the battery lasts well. I'm happy with it and would purchase again. Obviously you would be disappointed if you wanted to shower for a long time and expected city water pressure. That isn't what this is intended for. It's a camp shower, and a great one. Charges quickly from a solar power setup.

5.0 out of 5 stars Das ist DIE Mobildusche!

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice shower.

Very good shower. Lasts my mom for about 2 days before needing a recharge. Better pressure than the fitted shower in the bathroom, but that's not saying much. Been used for a couple of weeks now & it's working fine, but I'll update this review if it breaks down soon.
Be careful if you get this shower, not to lose the washer when unpacking the thing for the first time - this Important Part was lurking among the hanging up parts and I nearly threw it out.

Edit in October when we've had it a while: Mom finds it lasts more like 4-5 days and has good pressure all the time. So now I am giving it 5 stars instead of 4. And she says that for recharging it, she unscrews the pump (not the shower head) and plugs it into her computer.
(And another edit after more than a year: the shower is still going strong.)

Just Add Water Here is a waterproof, battery-powered portable shower that can serve multiple purposes indoors or out. By drawing water from virtually any bucket, basin or sink, the Ivation portable shower system turns a pool of water into a gentle shower-like stream on demand. This level of mobility and shower-anywhere capability is great for many uses such as on-the-go showering for campers and hikers; accessible poolside or beach showering; gentle bathtub showering for toddlers/babies, eliminating the need to use the strong overheard shower stream; an easy, portable water stream for home car washers; outdoor horse cleaning, and even house-pet washing in the bathtub. Rechargeable via USB - PLEASE NOTE: May include a wall plug instead of USB For a true go-anywhere shower, a built-in rechargeable 2200mAh lithium battery powers the Ivation portable shower for up to 60 minutes on a single charge. Charging is easy via USB connection to a computer or laptop, or with a 12v car adapter (Not Included). Couple that with the included suction cup and hanging hook, and you’ve got a shower ready when you are. The suction cup works on most flat surfaces, and allows parents to use both hands when showering their children. Use the S-shaped hook when camping to hang the lightweight, 1.4-pound Ivation showerhead on any nearby branch, and voila! You’ve got yourself a modern “crying tree.”
