    These are some really good quality knives. I bought these as a present for Christmas and they've been used every day since and they've still been cutting like brand new. It's really nice to have a good quality knife set now. Everything is well built and the block is very strong and nice looking. I love each knife and if you use them appropriately they make your life so much easier. Before I used to force the knife to make a simple cut, now it feels like I'm cutting through water. I'd highly recommend these knives to anyone really. Anyone would really appreciate these knives, they're really good quality for the price. You can not go wrong at all with these.

    Also, to the people whose knives have already rusted, I don't know what you're doing with your knives. I've had mine wet, and set in a drying rack to air dry and there's not a single speck of rust on them. So to anyone who has been discouraged about buying these because of that, then you have nothing to worry about. They're doing something wrong with them.

    I love this knife set. It is attractive on my countertop, but more important, the knives are sharp. You do have to be careful not to poke a hole in the block when you are putting them away, they are that sharp. They are a good weight in the hand and are very comfortable to use. Some knife sets have steak knives without serrated edges. These are 'half' serrated which is perfect, by which I mean that the lower part of the knives are serrated. I used to just throw my knives in the dishwasher, but with these, I am trying to take good care of them, so I do hand wash them, which is perfectly easy. If you don't dry them immediately, they do end up with lots of water marks on them, so I try to wash/dry completely after each use. I am very happy with this purchase.
